It's amazing (and not in a good way) (and I'm not talking about the movie itself)

concarnage has been wanting to see Fanboys since I met him about two years and five months ago. (ps we missed another anniversary lol) and it just came out in theatres like, last week. BARON VON JEN has seen it already thanks to some AMAZING thing that someone has been doing FOREVER and gets into movies before they come out. (Still must find out how.)

So here we are. It's premiered in theatres. Can it be that we can actually see Fanboys?

Yes, if it wasn't for the fact that we both have class and the other (imo more important) fact that we can't miss work because we both need all of the money we can get our little, and by little I mean rather manly, hands on. Apparently the only day that it's playing in this area (aside from NYC) is... today. Apparently Fanboys isn't a Valentine's Day movie? But Hotel for Dogs in its 10th month in theatres is? And even in NYC, it's playing in 5-7 theatres. (I have to imagine there's more movie theatres than that?)

I've been saying I was going to see Notorious and My Bloody Valentine for months. Have I seen either? No, because they're right there. (Though there was one giant failed attempt at seeing My Bloody Valentine.) But now that Fanboys, which has been anticipated for almost 2 and a half years (and over that time, the nerd core of me has grown exponentially making the excitement even more so), cannot be seen readily.

I am more determined to see it than ever. Maybe so determind to break into Lucas Ranch to do so?

ps it's scary how similarly I am dressed to that girl today (and yesterday, as I am wearing the same clothes... sorry, that's gross). And how similarly I dress to all those guys any other day of the week. (Somehow my wardrobe, which used to be cute dresses and boots, has disintegrated into men's t-shirts and saggy jeans? Help!)
